     Promote lifelong education
Advocate gender equity
Support legislation on issues affecting women and children             Interact with other professional women   

Education
Fullerton Branch AAUW is dedicated to education. Fullerton is an education community with six colleges of higher learning.

          The Fullerton Branch contributes to the                        AAUW Education Foundation which supports               additional study for graduate students and             funds national research studies.

    We sponsor middle school young women who              participate in Tech Trek, a statewide science               and summer camp program.

AAUW History
Founded in 1881, the AAUW now represents over 150,000 college graduates across the United States.
At State and National levels AAUW values and seeks members of every race, creed, age, national origin, sexual orientation, and level of physical ability.

We co-sponsor with two other Orange County branches a Math Science Conference. This annual one-day event attracts 700-900 junior and senior high students to hear outstanding women professionals talking about careers open to those with a strong math/science            education.
